A thing of beauty is joy for ever! Mumbai Marathon

The sheer intensity of the Mumbai Marathon can only be experienced while watching and cheering beside the road. Its the first time I realised its importance, perhaps its unique concept and presence of many of the celebs.

Catch up the train at Seewood station arround 6.50 am , Ajit who was waiting at Sanpada station joined me after 15 mins. A news from Jitu makes our journey more talkable. Jayan became a father now with a girl child! Jayan, working as the Creative director of IDG Groups of Company in Banglore! , is now in Kerela at this occasion. I tried to wish Jayan but his mobile is unreachable, so me and Ajit thought to wish him later in the evening.

At 7.55 both of us reach VT station and had Vegetable Patis. When the announcment of Rani Mukherji and Abhishek Bachan aired ....everyone down the streets started looking to the stage and waved there hands to greet them. A whistel, and the Marathon starts. Perhaps one can think of mumbai as a city without any feeling, but the opposite side of its peoples, its local trains and the all time busy culture makes its allways a happening place to watch and enjoy!

Here are some of the snaps that I captured !
